Min Min Lights and more at the start of the Nullarbor

There’s no sugar-coating this IPWR experience.

Brutal. Brutal. Brutal.

Despite adversity in the extreme sense, Mr Maykit (new found respect now) is powering through the KMs.

But after a phone call and scant texts throughout day 7 the reality is…reality.

Head winds. Hot. Cold.

The little dots moving forward. Look soooo easy.

But beware the things we cannot see…

March flies the size of horses.

Maybe because it’s March? Dunno?

And because of the head winds the inability to speed through this insect menace means even when you’re moving the flies still have the opportunity to eat you.

Mind you. This ride is a CHOICE.

Welcome to the madness of IPWR.

First up on almost Day 7  – Willy sees the light.

Hoping everyone understands the reference, min min lights.?

Not sure about our hero pic today but it certainly resembles this phenomenom.

Team Willy received this pic with text …

“Freaky this yellow orange light moving around. Think it was satellite”.

No Willy.

It was min min lights.

Had to be. I am a believer.

OK moving on through the night…to the morning.

Exceptional morning that it was…

Day 7 - IPWR - Nullarbor Road House to no idea yet

UBER EATS DELIVERY….OUT OF THE BLUE…

This fellow came out of nowhere moving in the opposite direction.

Mr Maykit had a chat “Nice Bloke – off to Fremantle” before moving forward with the day.

Bigger bike and more swag – er.

TEXT/MAProgress correlation…

So when texts come through….Team Willy instantly checks out what’s the haps with dots.

AND THEN IS IT DAY EIGHT? NOT SURE? AT NUNDROO…AS YOU DO…

So it’s 9.18 QLD time and sporadic texts with pretty pictures and guessing/hoping Willy Maykit is snuggling in for the night.

The last photos sent below.

Must make mention of subsonic’s name change – now DannyMcDanFace – Hilarious! Love it. Go Danny.
