What’s a guy about to start a bike ride from Perth to Sydney do when he doesn’t have the luxury of his own awesome bike shop around the corner?
They take a spin into Captain Walkers and say gday to Sam.
With less than 24 hours to go, I’ve just left from there and just had to give him a lil mention.
He’s been helping all the IPWR 2022 crew with their last minute bike ailments and, knowing the ride starts tomorrow, he’s been kind enough to make us a priority.

After the pink beast was on a long plane flight in a box, I wanted to get someone with a good mechanical eye (i.e. NOT me) to at least give it a once over in case I put the pedals, or handlebars, back on back to front. Ahem.

The bike is running perfectly and I just can’t wait to get going tomorrow now.
