As I write, Todd’s at Kenilworth. He arrived a couple of hours after the pub closed.
So dinner tonight will be cold, salty, sweet and probably loaded with wheat.
Perfect for a gluten-free diet.
Considering he was literally laid flat, popping pills from around 6 pm until 4.30 am (at a guess), I can’t believe the ground he’s made today.
Go, Willy!
He said he was sore but no more spasming. So grateful.
135km so far, and he hopes to get over a little mini mountain tonight to Jimna.
That’s another 50km to go.
Up a hill. In the dark. Scaweeeee.
He’s also lost his clear prescription glasses just before coming into Maleny.
These things are meant to try us.
He knows precisely where – he took a photo and left them on his seat and road off up a massive hill. There was no way he was going to go back. So he’s roughing it with a $24 pair from the servo.
Dot-watching is starting to become addictive again, so I’m in rehab tonight.
This is all I got.
And oh – Happy Father’s Day to Willy and all the Dad’s and dad figures out there and Willy’s Dad, Roger a.k.a “Happy”. It is guaranteed he’d be super proud of you right now – probably laughing at how crazy you are doing this stuff, but super proud, I am sure.
Keep pedalling, Willy!
At least there’s Vitamin C in the sauce…
This was last night’s dinner, and breakfast rolled into one at around 9 a.m. this morning at D’Aguilar.
And some piccies below sent through of red dirt, red dirt with pretty views and a red dirt road. Nice.

Good to see ya on the move mate
Omg you are a determined Willy!! Power to you. Maybe the gluten loading will add extra propulsion. I’ll plant extra trees in my garden as a carbon offset!☺️?
Tough as nails Willy.
Good job mate
Mario’s commentary of the dot watching is hilarious he knows your every move Todd- your doing great
Wow, always knew you were made of sterner stuff, but what a way to prove it! Proud, proud, proud.
Go Willy!!!
You are one tough character.
Your back was probably sore from carrying Mario and Dennis at work ?
Great effort today Bro, what a way to have spent Father’s Day 2023! It takes guts! Betty & Damo.
Keep going Willy- you’ve got this!
Brad and Freya!
